Dennis Chan’s roots and his love for trucks began along the banks of the Sacramento River at the family pear farm in Courtland, California. Living and working on the farm, Dennis drove and operated trucks and other farm equipment from a very young age. Dennis has left the farm but throughout his life has continued working with soil and trucks. Dennis owns and guides the operations of Redi-Gro Corporation, a soil and bark business utilizing its own fleet of trucks for shipping. In his free time, Dennis has enjoyed being a long time member of the American Truck Historical Society (ATHS). Dennis has been president of the ATHS Central California Chapter since January 2003. One of his goals as President of the ATHS Central California Chapter was to host the ATHS National Convention in Northern California. His goal will be realized On May 27, 2010 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California.
